Bumbum is deeply rooted in cultural fusion. We are the ones out of place wherever we go, the result of movement, mixed roots, inherited contradictions, in-between identities and lives lived across borders. This shared feeling connects our tribe and brings us together, shaping a new community that belongs through connection rather than place. The spark of Bumbum began through shared purpose and set of values that made it impossible not to cocreate a space like this.
It’s a meeting point between international diversity, contemporary Berlin madness, and the mystical beauty & spirituality of MENA and Mediterranean cultures - all brought into a forgotten forest in Brandenburg.We love art more than anything and want to see our friends come together and speak through their passions. There are many things out there that remain unnoticed and unspoken, and only through the power of art and connection can our world be moved.
Think of it as the cutest forest sleepover ever. A place where 300 beautiful humans slow down, connect deeply and spark a collective emotional journey.
Beneath the forest lies a nuclear bunker from wwII, revived in recent years by the collective UND.ER Techno Association - a contrast between forest and underground that only we will experience together. Imagine the energetically transformation: from the history of this place to our own little utopia where our fantasies stand in the center, a parallel universe for life as we wish it to be.There is a loud rebellion here - a resistance to the norms of our simulation - and through all art forms everything intertwines and breaks the daily. A communal, intimate, and open energy keeps us safe and sound in the land of Bumbum, and it’s very precious to us to preserve that energy through you.
Friends and friends of friends.. there is much more here than just dancing. Our vision is a landscape of intercreativity, where artistic expressions are interconnected and dependent on one another, forming an ecosystem of shared creation and inspiration.
Since it's a passion project funded by its own community. The ticketing concept is the only source of financing, directly reflected in the effort and magic created on the ground. Every form of financial support truly matters to us.
