With just 150–200 people, we’re all about quality over quantity; building a tight-knit crew rather than hosting a crowd of strangers. Think of it as the coolest forest sleepover you’ve ever had. A space where real connections spark artistic collaborations, collective potential, and a shared sense of purpose. We’re here to create something meaningful together. Let’s make it count.
 

Bumbum is rooted in cultural fusion - bringing international diversity & the beauty of Middle Eastern and Mediterranean culture into a forgotten forest in Brandenburg. We embrace anachronism & internationalism - creating spaces to look inward and contemplate through art, workshops, and films. 

Our festival follows a concept of intercreativity, where all artistic expressions on the ground are interconnected and depending on each other. Art will emerge organically from collective participation, showcasing artistic moments born from the festival itself. These will only be announced on-site - preserving the element of surprise. Yet, amidst all this depth, we also love humor and playfulness - because what’s a festival without that?
